From blah to aaaah!

Bellport Garden Club member Mary Elizabeth Kana and Bellport residents, twin sisters Yvonne and Martha Skorpanich, helped restore the natural beauty of the Brooke Bennington Heins memorial on the corner of South Country and Station roads. With plans and a vision for springtime perennial plantings, the friends worked together, pulling weeds, turning over the soil, setting down cardboard and finally mulch to create an organic, rich soil for next spring. 

At that time, the Bellport Garden Club will donate plantings to restore this seating area. Stop by then.
